In the centre of the allied campaign, there is Terry Palmer, a former journalist, who stood on the path of war of his own free will and views.
Before the war, he could hardly imagine his being a member of a diversion group or a participator in the negotiations with an enemy general in Algeria, far from his native land.
But now he venturously bursts into territories, occupied by the enemy, just to warn his people about the plans of the German army. And the same way bravely, without panic, together with a small group he withstands the enemy's rush defending ammunition depots in Tunisia.
